  One Hell of a week!

  Ahhhh Steroids.

  was in the hospital monday through wednesday.

  i should have gone sunday, but i thought i could fight it still.

  lost 10 pounds in 3 days last weekend, in dehydration.

  I am out of remission with my Crohn's disease. Was in the hospital Monday through Wednesday. I should have gone Sunday, but I thought I could fight it still. Lost 10 pounds in 3 days last weekend, in dehydration. I was so thirsty, but couldn't quench it, and really didn't want to . Depressed that I was going through this again.

  Fatigue, couldn't put one foot in front of the other. Fever, Nausea, Diarrhea, Dehydrated. Abdominal pain and cramps. I thought I was on deaths door Sunday.

  My doctor was out of town.

  It is such a yucky disease to have. Stayed in the ER for 5 hours trying to be admitted. Had 102.5 degree fever, and they wouldn't give me a blanket, until I was admitted. My husband brought in my little car blanket, YuK, Can you imagine all of the germs it has on it now. It is still in the car. I just put it over my head, and cried.

  So I told the ER doctor, to admit me, and pump me full of steroids. They did!!! I was a new woman within hours. IV steroids are awesome!!! Now I'm on a high dose at home also. Also they gave me B12 shots everyday. Taking Folic Acid, (I thought it was just for pregnant women)

  I had 3 hours sleep last night, have cleaned house most of the day. Here I am now, not sleepy at all. Eating whatever I can find.

  I am lucky though. I have only been out of remission, about 5 times in 16 years. Not bad, when you talk to others who have Crohns.

  PS I found those 10 pounds already in the hospital. Looking for more now!!!

  i'm feeling rejected and hurt because i've just been informed that i am not invited to my little sisters wedding.

  first, here's a little background story on my relationship with her: she and i are three years apart.

  when we were younger we were very close (i was in the "truth" back then).

  My Pious Pustule elder brother, told me once, that "He had given up on me." I was only reproved. He had more hope for my older brother, DFed, for years, than me. Go figure.

  You were reproved, or whatever, it has been so long. Spanked. Not Killed. Tell her that there may still be some hope, but you are not dead yet.

  Satan has got you by one foot, pulling you down, but you are fighting him, and she just shut the door. Thanks alot!!!!

  Damn-it Hillbilly, I said I would like to have a beer with you! It may need to wait just a bit, my new meds say no drinking, but I'll be there! Or, just come to McA!ester, and eat at P e t e ' s P l a c e , and I will buy you a C H O C beer. Very good homemade beer.

  I agree with Hubert also. Do the Witnesses still open presents at the reception? If so, and you could get it there, can you imagine the shock of all in attendence? OMG

  Do what everybody else has said, take the highroad,, and give her a little love gift, but do wrap up a copy of the book, and have a messenger take it to the reception hall.

  Maya, a drama set in India starring two abandoned/orphaned teenage boys (one American, one Indian) and an elephant; lasted less than a year. I was, what, twelve?

  Gently Feral, Maya was going to be my first choice. I just knew nobody would say it. I loved it.

  Seems like there were a couple more that I used to watch, mostly in the summers in Indiana. Gawd I loved Indiana!!!!!!!!! Great memories of being a normal kid with non-JW grandparents.
